Welcome

If you have a concept and a budget,

Call me to discuss.

If you only have a concept,

We can still talk.

If you have a budget,

I'm willing to listen.

If you have neither a concept or a budget,

Don't Waste My Time.

About

Bob Fisher has produced television commercials, documentary films, and features over the past forty years. Upon graduation from the University of Buffalo, he moved to New York to begin pursuing a career in documentary films. Starting as a production assistant he was selected by the Directors Guild of America to enter their Assistant Director Training Program and spent two years working on films in New York. During that time he also worked on commercials and over the past four decades pursued a successful commercial career producing award winning commercials at several successful production companies.

His first film venture was as the Executive Producer on “Rocket Gibraltar.” Moving between commercials and films, Bob was the East Coast President of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (The AICP) and two years later was elected the National Chairperson of that organization. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and was the Chairperson of the Board of the DGA Training Program. Bob has taught seminars in production, spoken at several universities, and has taught several week long classes in commercial production at the University of Buffalo.

"One call to Bob, and I get the 'creative' outstanding service, cost effectiveness and best product on time and on budget that is vital and critical to my business."

Merrick Murdock – Freelance Producer

Over the past ten years, Bob has transitioned from commercials to producing longer format projects including, “The Surge” a full length feature documentary on the military strategy behind the Iraq war. His next project was a little more humorous as he produced the 2009 Cheech & Chong Reunion Tour Film, “Hey, Watch This”.  Next was the successful pilot for Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”. From humor to very, very, dark humor producing the indie film, “Love, Sick, Love.

Bob continues to look for creative projects that can tell a story and inspire conversations and controversy.

“The Incomparable Rose Hartman”, his latest project, was an opportunity to get back to his documentary film roots which was the reason Bob moved to New York in the first place.

Bob lives in Mamaroneck, New York with his wife Bobbi, who he met at a Grateful Dead concert during his tied-dyed 70’s college days. He is an avid cyclist riding over 4,000 miles a year.

"Bob really understands the business, and how to deliver high quality at any budget level."
